AHW1
Ok. FM09 was broken beyond belief and I have completely lost faith. previosu versions wer great. Bought CM2010 which is ok but doesnt provide the same experience as FM. I do want to give FM one last try as FM09 didnt get me through to the 1st game of the 1st season despite upgrades and all solutions. I want to know what upgrades I can get and what my PC supports in order to get a good fast experience from Fm2010 which will be the last chance in my opinion. I have: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3 System Model: MS-7060 BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs) Memory: 1024MB RAM Page File: 527MB used, 1932MB available DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c Card name: ATI Radeon 9600 / X1050 Series Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc. Chip type: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor AGP (0x4152) DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz) Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4152&SUBSYS_024218BC&REV_00 Display Memory: 256.0 MB Current Mode: 1440 x 900 (32 bit) (60Hz) I have a sound card given to me by a friend but it had no CD and Im not sure how to update the drivers for this as the drivers I found just downloaded a bunch of folders and I couldnt find the setup.exe file anywhere. --- I am thinking (and I am no PC expert) that I should upgrade CPU, RAM and Graphics Card. Can someone please help advise me as if I start suffering crashes in FM2010 I will go nuts! What CPU does my motherboard support and what would be best to get? Im assuming I can run another CPU alongside the one I have at the minute What Graphics card? I have £60 budget for RAM and graphics card, plus the cost of the CPU.
