capretard
hello, earlier today when i was playing FM09 it was working fine. However once i had started it up again about 2/3 hours ago it was really slow and becomes unresponsive :S. I've had this game since release date and had no problems with it (smooth as you like) but now this is starting to very annoying. Hope you can help me
rinso
need a bit more info really.. whats your system/specs? how far into the game are you? are you running other progs at the same time?
FrazT
A more descriptive thread title would be good to start with. Problems like yours are usually associated with other applications running at the same time as FM using the computers resources or your anti virus scanning in real time. djwilko6
Actually I had this earlier on aswell, which is unusual. To answer rinso: Specs: Processor: Intel® Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.8GHz Memory: OCZ (3x2GB) 6142MB RAM Triple Channel Video Card: His ATI Radeon HD 4670 IceQ DDR3 1GB Not even a season in, I was running WMP, Xfire and Solitaire at the time, running Windows 7 Professional. I think my case just needs a bit of a clean tho, it's usually fine.

Saxonaitor
I'm on XP here but see if this may work. Go to task manager and then under the tab of Processes you should find a thing saying "fm.exe". Right click on that, go to set priority and set to above normal or high. This (as I understand it) just puts the priorites in place for you.

This (as I understand it) just puts the priorites in place for you. I wouldn't risk doing that. I've experimented with the priority levels and from my experience there is a decent chance it'll make your computer go haywire.
