TheHost
Hi all, I'm managing Wielsbeke in the Belgian third division and now my chairman is "in take over talks". Anybody had any experience with this? Is this going to mean that i'm going to be semi-pro's in a few months? I'm doing well (it's my first season though) was expected to go fight relegation but i'm now sitting confortably in 6th position, so the board might wanna give it a professionel approach. Keeping my fingers crossed;-)

baker.simon
Amateur clubs stays Amateur if im right. I think i've seen this in one of the BLOG's but i cant find it anymore It will be awsome if you can take an amateur club and make it professional. Thats only in FM2010. In 09 amateur clubs can become professional, ususally when they hit League 2. It was changed for FM10 as teams like Queens Park in Scotland will always stay amateur regardless of what level they are playing at.
SCIAG
However, I believe that only applies to some of the amateur clubs, so regular ones will still turn pro.
stevie_G_32201
IIRC it was amateur clubs marked as amateur in the editor/db will stay that way. the ones without that mark can turn pro. ~~Stevie G~~
