I'm Torino, and was level on points (64) with Sampdoria fighting for 7th and the final EL place. Naturally, being English i assumed this would be settled by goal difference, mine is a measley +17, with Sampdoria's being +21. Oh dear i thought, just missing out! But then i remembered that Italy separates teams (like Spain) on head-to-head results. So by frantically checking my results, it appears that the first game, we drew 0-0 at home, then i won 3-2 away! With an 87th minute winner from my merauding left back Matteo Rubin! So i did indeed qualify for europe by 1 goal. JACKPOT! So happy! Now, to sort out my Coppa Italia form, going out in the 4th qualifying round for the 3rd straight year! Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
