I sold all my worc city squad after getting promoted to the bsp XD Needless to say it didn't end well.

In the game it would probably make things worse and I reckon the same will happen to Micky Adams.

You hear about it every so often IRL, but funnily enough (well not really) it rarely works. It's usually done by managers who are big on the talk but not very big on the action, nor talented either for that mattter. Most of the time it will be counter productive. To do it in game jst control+left click your whole squad and right click and set transfer status, but don't expect to sell too many before you're sacked for results getting worse.

i did this as an experiment on 08. i sold the entire liverpool squad to see how much i could raise. i kept carragher, gerrard and torres (didnt have the heart to sell those 3)

Tend to do this with dafuges challenge, players are only really good for me for one season so get rid of them and get new faces in.

I'm sure there is a message board out there similar to this where coaches start threads with the players whom they are listing. Some managers like Rafa even start threads like, "Looking for -9 or -10 Spanish players only!". I also imagine that Platini is the site admin.

Nice PR thing but won't help the team at all if carried out.

I respect Micky Adams for the good job he did in getting Leicester promoted whilst in administration, but this is a stupid thing to do, and will just demoralise the squad. Such strong public criticism of the players isn't good management, and sadly shows why Adams hasn't managed to fulful the early promise he showed as a manager.

Why has he transfer listed them? They lost 3-1 at Notts County. I dont think thats any great shakes tbh.

i transfer listed all but 2 of my 1st team squad after promotion to the championship as leeds manager

we ended up getting to 7th position with only beckford and delph part of the league 1 promotion team

every time i start a new game "rangers" i sell everyone "exeptions hear & there"

the result is usaly a runaway rangers that are on par with premiership clubs.

Have sort of done this when playing FM08. Got beat 7-1 in a champions league final against Man U and just decided to transfer list all the players who played in the match.

I also transfer list people for getting stupid red cards.

Heh...i always do that when i start a new game. Most players in BSN/BSS are a bit crap and i know im able to find much better players for free.

i was rotherham and got them promoted two season running buying and selling about 20 players each season. Made a hefty 5 mill profit though.

No, there is no actual "list" of players maintained anywhere. It's more just one of those football terms that don't actually make sense. Like the Champions League: not just for champions and not actually a league.

Thats true i presume in real life you would get your personal assistant to email or fax all the clubs in the leagues you are interested in buying from???? Seeing as im not a real life manager i cant confirm this lol

I've sometimes wanted to do it but not the whole team, usually when i lose a match when i should of easily won because someone got a red card or had a mare (rating of 4.0 maybe)

Anyway I reckon the transfer listing of players is more in the nature of a gimmick than a real action, as how often do you see a manager tranfer listing all his players and a few weeks later deals being done for even 3 or 4 of the players.
