Game keeps closing on 24 April 2013

And it doesn't give a crash dump. I can't get past thus date even when I try to go on holiday. Anyone else experienced this? Anyone found a way to get round it?

Ive never had this myself but i have seen this problem reported before, although probably on different dates, so there must be a solution somewhere for it.

Found this tit-bit for you:-

Specific date crashes are usually caused by a corrupted file- if this is happening continually, then it is in the game files and not the save game. If you have the 9.3 patch installed, which fixed most of the known date crashes, you may need to uninstall and reinstall.. Best to delete the cache folder before reinstalling. If it is a game file corruption, you may not lose your current save.
