Here's what you do: 1. outbid the other team by significant amount 2. for some reason, when they are outbidded, they immediately withdraw their offer. you can see whether they have withdrawn from the contract menu. 3. Once they withdrew their offer, then you can resubmit your offer again at lower value. In the next version we'll improve this side of things to make clubs remember when you're effectively just messing them around in this way.
