BigAmzz
Its been a while since a premiership team used the 4-4-2 diamond and when i first saw Ancelotti's formation i was skeptical. I thought this formation would not be effective in this era of football as it dont give you much width and leaves the full backs exposed i even remember saying to my friend after the first game against hull that "Ancelotti wont last until christmas". How he laughs at me now, Chelsea are going from strength to strength and have to be early favourates for the title, they look solid and dominate pocession. Will be interesting to see if they can keep this up but so far so good for them and with joe cole and zhirkov returning the strength and depth of there squad is amazing. They look like the team to beat! Lets hope this using 2 strikers again thing catches on...
