Malta fm

We maltese people have been waiting to see our league and select for ages. I would like at least to manage the national team. The only thing i can do is to load all players from malta.

One thing, FM10 - Competition editor. I may be doing a Small club to big club challenge which will include the Maltese League, you could always help with research into league rules, etc.

Well I got some good news for you then, as you in FM 2010 will be able to activate the Maltese league and play with Sliema Wanderers and take them to CL glory

You can do that in FM09, just load all players from the country you want to manage.

You can manage San Marino. Have you tried gillsminnows Ultimate Retain All Players DDT? It lets you manage all sorts of teams e.g. Vanuatu

From what I can make out, in order to manage the Malta national team, you can add them to the DDT file. Follow the directions in this thread.

I think it's as simple as adding one line of code e.g. "RETAIN_NATION_PLAYERS" "Malta"

Save it there. Start a new game, before picking league, check preferences and make sure "Ultimate" is ticked.

I think DDT files are just the same as loading all players from a nation. They don't allow you to manage certain national teams who physically do not have enough players (200 iirc) in the Master db. San Marino and Liechtenstein are examples.

I loaded it last night, SCIAG, and Vanuata were available to manage because they are included in the DDT file. I assume they would have less players in the db than San Marino, dunno though. Every team in the DDT file was available.

I've just loaded up a game with small db and all players from American Samoa and I can manage them, they only have around 40 players in the game.

My god, they are crap.

It should do the same thing unless the Load All Players thing doesn't really load every single player froma certain nation. DDT files are just simpler because you don't have to choose a lot of countries every time you start a new game. I have made my own Retain All Nations-file and it works great.

If you can find playable a league with similar rules you can edit it in the editor but in FM2010 you should be able to create it from scratch.

The BIG THING IS THAT i thought replacing the whole EPL WITH maltese teams BUT after thinking i said that in 10 seasons NOT EVEN one will remain because they get all relegated bit by bit lool!

How about replacing a lower reputation league with Maltese teams, like Wales, and replace some of the non league teams too.

Not being funny here, but the most sensible suggestion is wait a coupe of months for FM10 and you can create the maltese league from scratch like a few have said.

Thanks alot for the Wales suggestion! I think it will work cause i will replace the whole leagues with maltese leagues and would be able to complete in the Uefa champions league too,

At least for FM10 you don't have to replace any nation, just create the league from scratch.

It loads ALL players from the any nation mentioned in a file. Makes it possible to manage some international teams

i just loaded it today and man i'm having fun

makes national teams manageable, teams you'd normally struggle to find players for

teams like vanuatu and afghanistan and so on

Just started to manage Malta now, while i am in my first season at liverpool there is a takeover talk by a consortium which said that they appoint carlos aguirre if they talk over! what can i do to keep my job?
