display no face

Recommended Posts

IIRC, going into Preferences, then Display & Sound, then ticking Always Reload Skin on Confirm and unticking Use Skin Cache, then hitting confirm fixes that.

You can reset those settings afterward.

thanks buddy, but it is no use after doing that, they still looks like a ghost there

hi there ,i got a display problem after changing my PC graphics card, all borned players are no face again, just left they hair alive, any body can solve this ? i can't insert they picture because i have no authority.

The only thing I can think of is going into the device manager and checking that there is no problems with the new card. Make sure that the drivers are properly installed. I recently did the same thing as you and installed a new graphics card and it work fine. Very odd.

I had the same thing, you need to clear your cache manually, sometimes the game does not clear it properly if you untick the option to use the cache. This is done by:

Windows XP:

1. Open “My Computer”

2. Navigate to : “Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\

3. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder.

4. Go Into the “Football Manager 09” Folder.

5. Delete the "Cache" folder inside.

Wndows Vista:

1. Click “Start”

2. Click your username on the start Menu

3. Click on “AppData” and then “Roaming”

4. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder

5. Go into the “Football Manager 09” Folder.

6. Delete the "Cache" Folder inside.

Mac OSX

1. Open Finder.

2. Select <User>

3. Navigate to Library\Caches\Sports Interactive

4. Delete the the "Sports Interactive” Folder.

5. In the Library folder find the folder called "Preferences"

6. Delete the "Sports Interactive" Folder.

Hope this helps!

Oh, and I had to restart my pc after doing this too, so that FM is not using any temporary files...
