Coop
Some of these are ridiculous. I've just paid £37M out and I'm only at Hearts.

Perry Neal
Some of these are ridiculous. I've just paid £37M out and I'm only at Hearts. Romanov takes out £37M. What, you think this is unrealistic...?

kingpin
These really do **** me off, especially because i manage arsenal and it is well documented that arsenal do not pay out dividends.....just a way of keeping overall balance down.... straccy vendoli
i agree..expecially considering that i'm asking for a new stadium or at least for more capacity and they tell me that would be an ecomical risk..well,i've started with 8millions in the bank account and now i have 413millions after five years..and they could be 485 without the dividends..economical risks?are you kidding me? swisso
I built a nice balance with Southampton of £55m in my second Premier League season. The board already took £22m from me for a needless Stadium Expansion, then took £17m for Dividends. Don't know why i bothered trying to play 2 Prem seasons with below-par players if the board wants to ruin my 2 year finance plan

SCIAG
£36m at Reading, who have one major shareholder, whose dividend is already in the game as a loan to be paid back
santy001
My chairman was beginning to take in excess of 80m a season (did so for 3 years) before a takeover, and since then my chairman takes no dividend at all from the club so the club profits of 200m or so of last season remained completely untouched. x42bn6
i agree..expecially considering that i'm asking for a new stadium or at least for more capacity and they tell me that would be an ecomical risk..well,i've started with 8millions in the bank account and now i have 413millions after five years..and they could be 485 without the dividends..economical risks?are you kidding me? Remember that all publically-listed companies have shareholders to satisfy. They own the club, if you like, and do expect to make a profit after investing in it. What I'd like to do is be able to request the board to talk to shareholders to raise capital to build a squad, or to set out on a big long-term project, or simply to build toilets in your stadium. straccy vendoli
to x42bn6..you're right,but..as much as i now, udinese is not owned by a publically-listed company but by a single man..so what?and i agree with you,at least they could tell me how much i need to have an expansion for the stadium and so on.. phnompenhandy
Can you stop it happening? By selecting sugar daddy or something similar? I'm not sure you can stop it, unless by unticking 'plc' in the pre-match editor. A sugar daddy will put money back in, so you'll never be in the red. Lloydey
If you aren't a plc you are still a 'ltd', i.e. limited company, so can still pay dividends so not sure that will help although would be interested to hear if other people think it does stop dividends.
