Makonnen
Win, Loss, Draw ... but what does the "X" stand for?
cf
I'm under the impression D is a scoreless draw and X is a draw where goals are scored, or something like that.
Althaz
cf is correct. D is scoreless draw and X is a "score draw". I believe it actually originates from cricket where X is used to represent a Tie (different to a draw in test cricket). As an example take this form guide for Liverpool: Liverpool 4-1 Manchester United (W) Liverpool 0-0 Stoke (D) Liverpool 4-4 Arsenal (X) Liverpool 0-2 Tottenham (L) So their form line would be WDXL. Allies
Now I also know... I realised that the 'X' stood for a draw, but I also wondered what the difference between 'D' & 'X' was. Thanks for informing me, guys!
