Telling Staff To Learn A New Formation

Can anyone tell me how do you tell your assistant manager to learn a new formation?

errrm to be honest i dont think there is a way to do this.

If you go on holiday and want the ass man to play a particular formation then set the formation and tactics and tell him to play the same way.

If you just want him to learn something new, I don’t think they can and most managers and coaches will play the formation and tactics they are comfortable with.

It's just the staffs preferred formation, what he will default to when all conditions are met, i.e. you don't tell him to use another, he has the players to use the formation.
