Is Eccentricity a good stat?

I've been thinking for a while on this subject my fellow GD'ers

Is eccentricity a good stat for a goalie to have. If you don't know already, eccentricity is the liklehood of a goalie running out the area or making risky decisions to kick the ball etc. So is this a good stat? Would your team be more disadvantaged with a goalie of 1 eccentricty or 20?

In my eyes a stat of 12 oe 13 is best, as it means they can do the unexpected, but won't do it too often. I remember going crazy when i used to have Lehmann in my team 'cos he just ran out for no reason.

If i was a manager i'd say no as he'd be giving me a heart attack every minute. If i was just a spectator then yes, remember Higuita and Chilavert? Great for fans...not so much for managers!

In my opinion it is a bad stat. I prefer to have a solid, consistent keeper rather than one who can play like Superman one game, and then Supergran the next. I also have the same philosophy with my defenders. They are the spine of the time. I leave the creativity/eccentricity to the midfielders and attackers.

Personally I prefer a low eccentricity stat, drives me up the wall when they run out and blow a lead in the last minute!
