Manager Involvement

I'm curious as to how involved all of you are with your clubs.

I just started a new save with AS Beauvais Oise of the French National league. I delegate everything to my ass man, except for team talks. And, of course, I control the senior squad.

However, as I'm about to start my second season, I think I'm going to try managing both my senior squad and reserves. I think I'll be able to enjoy my save a lot more if I'm more involved.

Like I said earlier, my question is, how in-depth is your involvement with your club? Do you delegate, or do you control everything?

As Ipswich Town I like to manage all 3 of my squads. My reseverse are made up of players who need more match practice, and my U18's I choose players who I'd like to bring into my first team the year after

Always always manage all 3 teams. The only real way to understand how players develop and grow.

i only manage the 1st team but cant be arsed to manage the others, although i'd like to, especially when every player at the club has joined through me but yeah, cant be bothered

i tend to manage the 1st team but will occasionally take charge of the youths cup matches

oh and i also think it wud be great to manage the youth team or reserve team only so you could increase rep and either stay on and manage the 1st team (eventually) or after a season drop down a division to manage say port vales 1st team

I manage the first team but leave the reserve and youth to my assistants, i do everything else available myself though, except press conferences, unless they are actually ones in a final, i do bother to do them

I only manage the A-team, but I attend a few of the reserve and youth matches. Also, I take all press conferances, team talks and games myself.

I manage the senior squad, but I take a keen interest in acquiring youngsters. I am always on the lookout for the future superstars. For some reason other clubs just buy the big talents of the day, rather than the big talents of the future.
