Want to use one of the updates in the editors hideaway, and tried to get help in there but no one has replied. I have downloaded the cromscott update, an when i have tried using winrar to extract to the db file it says pathway cannot be found for any of the files. I then tried to use the forbsie update, and when i tried to extract that to the db file, it says that administrative priveleges may have to be required so access is denied. Can anyone help me please? I am desperate to get an update going and start a new game. I would really appreciate just some simple instructions to get one of the updates working! It should be as simple as saving the downloaded .zip (or .rar) file to your desktop and then double clicking on it and extracting the database to the correct folder.
