Spart Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 Hey guys, Just wondering if this feature was in FM09 or it was taken out as i haven't really experienced it this year. I remember when managing a large club on earlier versions you would occasionally get an obscure player's representative sending you tapes of their player's performances in the hopes that you would sign them up. One of the problems is it only seemed to recommend players based on a goal or multiple highlights, which meant invariably that only strikers or forward thinking midfielders would be recommended to you. Sir_Liam Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 I liked this feature, and I did actually sign a player based on a scout video. His name was Clayton Zane, an Australian target man. I was in the market for a target man, but hadn't found the right one, and with 1 day of the transfer window left I was offered Zane and I signed him, and he was pretty good for a year or two, before my team got better and he was no longer needed. Golaxi Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 its annoying. why add features and advertise them but take old ones away? the first option one was my fav :-( and just cause some people found the feature not very well done doesn't mean they couldnt have made it better. plus the majority of people here said they did get some good signings out of it.
