Staf9
As it says who do you think will be the best players in the new game, up and coming young players that were not highly rated in FM09 but who developed over the year and will now be -9 or -10's

Elrithral
Ask in GD please. Isn't player naming agaisnt GD rules? A decent majority of the stars of FM10 will also be stars in FM09, so.....
charlo116
probably the usual players like vela, anderson, pjanic, e.t.c. Although Anderson should be downgraded to -9.

charlo116
Prob the entire Arsenal team as they are always overrated... at least i know what im gonna do when i get FM10...downgrade the full Arsenal team you won't test them out first? I've only ever played fm 07 and fm 09 and they were overrated only on 09.
Jimbokav1971
In defense of the Arsenal Researcher, it wasn't that they were over-rated. More that they developed physically in the game at an increased level to make their physical abilites equal to that of other teams, (which allowed their significant technical ability to come to the fore). It really wasn't an issue with the way that the players were researched or created, more the way that the game developed their physique rapidly from the start. Elrithral
Changed the thread title, if the mods from here don't like it, please close. Cheers big ears. BTW the Arsenal thing, I don't think they are all that overrated, those players have that potential IRL, they are one of the best in the world. The only difference is the style of play in FM works all the time and the style of play IRL works most of the time. Plus, all their players are exactly the type of player that always does well in FM. Stong, great stmaina and fitness, pacey and technically superb. It might not guarantee results irl, but it does in FM.
silva_gunner
The same players will be world class potential, -10 etc. Despite them still being stuck in Bordeaux resrves or whatever. And at least one unknown will be a world beater ala Vagner Love this year.
CrashOverride
Id say Dalla Valle, Insua, Rodwell and Macheda will probably have better PA's than they did in 09 but its difficult to guess as it depends on the researchers!
the--dud
Dzeko, Grafite and Misimovic will be upgraded. Perhaps Steven Ireland a bit as well...

bluebirds4life
Michael Chopra, surely. Anderson, Pjanic, Vela will probably be very good, and Santon I'm sure, not sure about Alexis Sanchez a Paloschi though.

mkus
When we have a whole forum for discussing good players, is there a particular reason why this is in here? Because this thread is speculating, nay - discussing, about who might be good players in the next version of FM. Once FM is released it'll be appropriate for the Good Players forum. Garion
Leroy Fer will definately be the new surprise Agreed. I am curious whether Vlaar, De Guzman and Wijnaldum are also (still) very promising players. Feyenoord's rivals, Ajax, starplayer who so far this season is outperforming the rest of their squad, Luis Suarez, should (or I think) will be an interesting prospect/buy for the bigger teams. Braenn
Jack Rodwell, Jack Wilshere, Adam Johnson, Macheda, Rafael/Fabio Da Silva, Davide Santon, Fabian Delph Shane Duffy will be up there, in the full N.I squad at 17.

Macheda scored one great goal and is suddenly hailed as a player with great potential! Even Ray Houghton scored some screamers every now and then. Macheda is no better than -7, if not a -6! PERCIVA11
I CAN'T BELIEVE NOBODY HAS SAID THE MOST UNDERRATED PLAYER EVER!!! The legend.. DARREN FLETCHER! Surely got to be worth around 15 mil

Undergrove Ireskatts
I can see Jack Wilshere going on to become an excellent player on FM2010. Also, look out for Joshua King at Man Utd. I expect he will have high potential. More so than on past versions.
jdlovesunited
I don't think Fletcher will exactly be a star of the game. BaYa
Arda Turan from Turkey will probably have PA close to 180. in fm09 he has a PA of 178; but his stats are stay poor because he is 2-footed, and this takes toooooo much of the CA...

Ranbir
Keirrison again? I keep seeing his name dropped for the past two games at how he's a goal scoring maniac. Taytaz
The West Ham youth system. Tomkins looks like he has loads of potential, and the CA of Stanislas and Collison needs bumping, they've performed very well. Hernanes of Sao Paulo needs a lift in CA and PA, and a few of the random -9s need to be replaced with new random-9s tokeep it interesting =P
