FM09 graphics card recommendation

After some advice please. I'm after a better graphics card for my PC so I can run FM09 in 3D and be prepared for FM10.. The on board card at the moment only supports 2D so could do with upgrading. Cash is at a bit of a premium and whilst I've had a look on EBay - there's so much to choose from and I don't want to buy the wrong bloody one (am not too 'up' on graphics cards) So if anyone can recommend something that will do the job and at a fairly cheap price, I'd be very grateful.

Do you have a laptop or desktop and what kind of socket do you have pci, agp or pci-e?

Forgot to say - it's a PC and I think it's an AGP socket.

I doubt you'll have much luck finding an AGP card. Your PC must be pretty old - you'd be better saving for a new PC.

I'd open up your case and have a look to make sure what type of socket you have first though. Sockets should be clearly marked.

Your local pcworld\comet\currys might even have a few around but I wouldn't go to these places unless your desperate because they tend to be a lot more expensive than other places.

PC is about 5 years old. Runs FM09 pretty well, bar the lack of 3D graphics.
