I am playing in the MLS right now and the board refuses to discuss the current wage budget because of the league salary cap. The wage budget is set at 57k and the actual cap limit is under 33K. I can understand the club wage budget to be a bit higher than the cap to accomidate for injured players, reserves etc. but certainly not as high almost 2X the league cap.
