SCIAG
There is no "nice" way to leave. Sorry
kesl
I think they should put that feature in the new game.
Wee Aja
Yeah, pretty daft of SI to (naturally) screw this up
The 92nd Fish
There should be some kind of way to resign stating that you feel you need a new challenge or you've taken the club as far as you can. Alas there is not.
Martin_
Let your contract expire?

Standard liege!
There is no "nice way" to leave a club, as far as i know, you will always be on the hated list.
HMFC_SCFC
Kill all the fans....then there'll be no one to hate you

Deaksydeak
It really depends. If its just "normal" Hajduk supporters, i wouldnt concern myself either way. On the other hand, if their Torcida aren't that happy with you, you better run to the hills
IWWROCKS
I think it's realstic that some fans hate you. You've spent so long at the club and left, no matter what you did for the club you've turned your back on them. You were synonimous with that club and a small minoirty would be angry and scared that a new a manager couldn't do the same. So I think that maybe when you leave a minimum of 15 disliked personnel is added. More depending on lack of success and way of leaving. But the favoured personnel wouldn't dissapear. That'd stay at however you got it too in your time and whichever one is more determines how the majority of fans see you. That would represent both sides of the crowd. ZIRA - NK Jedinstvo Bihac
what about mutal termination That should be possible.. SI should do something about this in future ver of FM.
Nerion
Definitely one of my biggest issues with FM. Would be nice if something would be done about this.

Steve Coppell is not disliked at a rating of 15 at Reading. He definately isn't disliked at 100. Interestingly, I have been appointed manager of Chimney Corner three times on 09 (in one save)
LawsonBRam
On my current game with Derby, I'm in 2020 and have been there from the start and not so long ago I saved the game and then resigned to see what happened and I had quite a nice message along the lines of the board and fans thanking me for what I'd achieved at the club etc. I wouldn't actually have it in me to leave though. Football Fan
What happens if you are sacked?
Delvey
AFAIK, you go on the disiked list when you leave a club to prevent an issue with that club offering you a job, rather than to mimic a reaction - especially as you cant see the disliked list!! AcidBurn
Download an editor and remove yourself from the disliked list, thats the only way I can see of doing it.
DayleSmith
I think they should introduce a Mutual Consent feature of your own contract, e.g. like Jose Mourinho when he left Chelsea. That'd be a great way out.
jayahr
I cannot think of a 'nice' way either. I'd really appreciate if SI would acknowledge and implement that managers can still be heros of a club after leaving.
