Bragenca
Hey, I'm just wondering how many pre-season matches you play each pre-season, or how many days between matches, so my team wont be tired or unfit for the new season?
Martin_
I tend to leave a week between my last friendly and the first game of the season. Apart from that, as long as you don't go OTT you should be fine. If I have two friendlies close together I'll play two different XIs.
Eles Gergo
depends on what team you are premier league team i would do 5-6 games, the last would be 4-5 days away from my first league game (or first competetive game) the rest 2-3 days apart so i can use my squad depth to see who will cut it for the first team lower league (BSN/BSS) i would add friendlys at home for money and of course 5+ days apart so my squad wont get injured and i woulden't have any backup players
footynut
I’ve gone for seven pre-season friendlies this season. A good way of experimenting and shaping your squad before the serious stuff starts. Generally play a different team in each half or match. Also arranged friendlies for the Reserves and Under 18’s. The reserves can be a good way to get a player fit that hasn’t had many games for the first team. A lot depends on the size of your squad.
