rawhide1983 Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 A friend of mine was playing with boro, got watford in playoff semis ended up losing on penalties then It came up that he had drawn reading in final and when we checked it had it so that he had won on penalties, this is on the most recent patch two has anyone heard of or experienced this bug? When I continued game, on results appeared that I won that match 4-3 at Riazor . Incredible. Later I won Champions league that year, and next three years too. mbchuz Posted August 18, 2009 Share Posted August 18, 2009 I lost a penalty shootout that I did in fact lose, but not in the way the commentary would have you believe. I've played a LOT of FM09 and this only happened for the first ever time in one of my recent reasonably long games in 2025. Playing (I think) Carlisle in the FA Cup Final and the game was noting players as missing/scoring completely differently to what the commentary was saying... eg. "McGuire steps up to take the penalty....GOAL" --> "Michael McGuire Missed" Can't complain too much though, I lost both ways Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
