Not as you would want it, but start a game, add a manger named :holiday, holiday the game to any date you want, add a manager, this time it will be you, after that, switch to manager named holiday, and retire him. You could just update the transfers and not buy the next one. I know you'd miss out on some features but im sure plenty would just use updates which takes money away.
