chuz
Post a quick summary of any great FMH07 games here... I'll kick it off with Melbourne Victory vs Central Coast, 31/8/2019. The Mariners looked to put Victory's season target of 21 wins out of 21 games to an early end as a 27th minute strike put them up 1-0 at home. Just 6 minutes later, Victory defender Patrice Cisse fouled in the box, earning himself a red card and handing CCM the opportunity to extend their lead with a penalty. Darren Thompson made no mistake, 2-0. Manager Chuz saw the need to attack and brought on two strikers for his left back and defensive midfielder. A quick look at the match stats in the 60th minute frustrated Victory and Chuz- CCM with 2 shots and 2 goals, Victory with 14 shots but no-one on the scoresheet. The 71st minute finally brought a sign of relief though, as former Marseille striker Romain N'Daiye bagged his first league goal of the season. As time gradually ran out for Melbourne, the players lifted their intensity, the equaliser looked inevitable. Again it was Romain N'Daiye with his second of the game in the 89th minute. The mariners were growing frustrated and it showed, when a rash challenge by Ivorian-born Youssouf Kante saw him pick up a red card. Victory, inspired by their team's comeback and with a renewed belief in their ability to win fought hard and the rewards came. An injury-time winner to fan favourite Marco Pedro saw Victory complete an incredible comeback and continue on their path to a league winning streak. Final Score CCM 2-3 Melbourne
