PA question, what does it mean?

forgive me for not knowing but i have no idea what everyone means when they put their little spoiler thing on, then underneath it says either like '170' or '-8' or something, can someone please explain lol?

It is the potential ability a player will achieve, 200 being the best.

As Elrithral said, basically how good a player will be in the future, for instance 45 would be quite rubbish, and won't be very good at all, but 200 means he's a wonderkid and will go a long way.

The minus numbers are ranges (-10 is 170-200 iirc) which are generated at game start- so a -10 will get, say, 117 PA assigned to him when the game is starting. 0 is CA-200- completely random, although higher than or equal to the player's CA.

Older players who are past their best have their PA set to the highest CA they reached.

It is not displayed in the game, it is available via a programme called FMRTE (google it), but it is considered cheating.

The PAs overlap to it is possible with the right luck when the game starts that a -9 can have a higher PA than a -10.

Has anyone seen a player with a very high potential that never ever did it and became pretty average? Sure it would have happened.

^^ That's a spoiler, nothing to do with the game itself. You just use it on here when revealing things other users may not want to see, for example a player's PA.

Yes, in my current save there is a newgen Korean left winger with 193 PA, he's 26 and his CA is 130 so it's unlikely that he will ever reach full potential.
