Brian Shanahan Posted August 9, 2009 Share Posted August 9, 2009 It seems to be a recurring problem with long term saves corrupting. I don't think you can actually save your save, but as I am a bit of a luddite with compuer software I could be wrong. My only advice for future saves is to have backups, you can do this in the options>preferences>auto save mode. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
hamilton162 Posted August 9, 2009 Share Posted August 9, 2009 The save is corrupted. Try defragmenting your hard drive, but this is not guaranteed to work i'm afraid. If that doesn't work, then the save is unplayable and you will have to start again. I suggest you use rolling autosave which ensures that you have backup files in case one corrupts.
