Gary Toner Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 I remember reading years ago that certain managers used a previous incarnation of the FM/CM series when it comes to scouting players. The two I remember off my head are Strachan while he was at Southampton(Delgado anyone? ) and Curbishley admitted he used it to check on players he had been tipped off about before deciding to spend any money on scouting them. If i remember correct everton bought him and he turned out to be crap lol.I was convinced at the time( i still have my suspicions) that they bought him on the back of that CM game!!!
