CFish
Apologies if I am repeating something already discussed previously. BUT! How can I load the game without steam? I have the game, bought from a shop in a box, not downloaded. But when registered it was done through steam. Now every time I load the FM shortcut up it loads through steam. But sometimes steam can take a while to sign in. Took me 5 mins just now! I could have played a game in that time Thanks in advance

FrazT
Nope- You can play it without loading up Steam by doing the following: Go to C: Program Files - Steam - Steam Apps - common - Football Manager 2009 Inside this folder you will find the FM09.exe Create a shortcut here, and drag it onto your desktop The game will now work without running steam - make sure Steam is NOT already running when you do this. Martin_
You can uninstall and then reinstall using the other option the installer gives you. I've found my game seems to run a bit faster since I gave steam the boot.
