jamessimpson Posted August 6, 2009 Share Posted August 6, 2009 please someone help me Football 2008, is my favorite game and its stops working just after the war child scene. stops and comes up with "not well informed (invalid token) at line 1 of sound_cache_mode.xml" really annoying seeing as ive done nothing to it to be like this. please want help, reply to this or email me jamessimpson2008@hotmail.co.uk james. thankyou. Go to My Computer and at the top select 'Tools' the 'Folder Options'. The go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders' Delete the following folder: XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\settings Vista: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\settings This may solve some issues regarding the XML Errors From the known issues thread.
