hands on approach

Just wondering what affects your hands on approach attribute. obviously i know the basics but just wondered if anyone new a fuller list.

I think it is a case of doing things for yourself rather than letting the game do it. For example, I find that setting my own training schedules and assigning the players and coaches to them keeps my rating quite high.

iv slightly set my own training and have assigned coaches to certain parts which i could do more of but my ratings still about 5

You need to create your own training sessions, tactics, take press conferences, take team talks, don't holiday, manage friendlies, arrange friendlies.

I'd imagine that letting your assistant take press conferences, team talks and contract renewals would also lower it.

probably the press conferences thats my main problem which was what i thought, shame they are so repetative

I'm not sure about the friendlies. I've always let my assistant organise and take control of them and I still have 20 for my hands on approach. I am doing everything else in that list though so maybe that it keeping it high.

Player interaction is also important as far as I can see, as it is the only thing I do the whole time (aside from picking the team) and after 3 and a bit seasons I'm up to 16. I have my own training schedule and set the coaches, but the schedule hasnt changed in 3 years and I only look at coaches schedules when I get new ones in.

P.S. a side effect of talking to players and setting up sensei-grasshopper links is that about 30 of my squad love me which is handy if ever I leave.

My hands on approach is always my lowest stat. I like a team to work with me! (I'm lazy! )

- Create your own training

- handle player contracts for all teams [Main, Reseves, U21 / U18]

- arrange and play your own friendlies

- attend press conferences

Those four alone should see it rise pretty swiftly to 20. However, you can also use the "player interactions" feature to keep it high.

The only times I haven't managed a 20 in HOA is when I didn't organise my own friendlies and training schedules, so those are the 2 most important things in my opinion.
