Reading the odds

Recommended Posts

to be honest if it didnt have (fav) next to the odds i would be clueless. i want to understand how to read if im a heavy favourite or just edging it.

example i just played portsmouth and the odds were:

pompey 4-1 man utd 4-7

how would i read this? or understand how the odds work?
