I considered Michael Owen as well, but decided that he was never really without a club. But then neither was Carlos Tevez. Then I realised the best example I could think of was Stefano Eranio who actually left Derby County, only to resign with us in the same summer. backpackant Posted August 4, 2009 Share Posted August 4, 2009 It happens very often with low rep players. These guys might be talented but if no one has heard of them, it's more than possible. Browse around the League 1 and Championship club websites and you'll see a lot of people without clubs and on trial. Granted the examples in the OP are fairly extreme, and they should probably have been snapped up, but like so many things in FM I think this is due to rep.
