Does the ME favour particular stats?

I heard the ME favours strikers who have pace and are strong, over and above stats like finishing, composure etc.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

What about other positions?

I know on Fifa that pace and strength ruins the game and makes it too easy (e.g. playing ronaldo upfront)

but on FM, i cant see it makes that much of a difference, where as having Luca Toni upfront (wif 20 finishing), wenever he gets space in the box too shoot, it 99% of time goes in, i see more of a favour towards finishing in my own eyes. but thats just meee
