davidmcain
Hi there, Anybody played in South Africa before longterm? I was playing there over the last couple days and really enjoyed it. BUT, at the start of Season Four, the league didnt generate any fixtures. There were still cups and cobtinental competitions but no league. Anyone had this problem before? Wouldnt mind starting a new game there again, but not if my good work will be undone again Cheers Guys
erik86
Started one on FM08 and the 5th season had fixture problems... Is this a known issue with SA anyone?
The Wet Jigsaw!
This has happened to people who use Norton Security thing, as it deletes temporary files. FM creates temporary files and if Norton deletes these then no fixtures can be generated. It happened to me once when I had Norton.
erik86
And I used to work for Symantec...... USELESS ****s I did work on the corporate side tho and had nothing to do with Norton!
davidmcain
Cheers for the help guys. I have Norton so I guess thats where the problem lies. Funnily ive never had this issue one any other league in many years of playing the fm series. Shame too really as my team was looking fantastic, wiining trophies and average age of about 19. Oh well life goes on...
GillsMan
And on that note, Norton is fs (although it is a lot better than it used to be). Use a good free one like AVG, or Avast, or pay £30-40 for Kaspersky (what I use) or Nod32.
