Saw this on a few other forums and thought it would be cool to sum up our games in this year's FM.

Best Goal: Tied 1-1 for the Mexican clausura title, Giménez scores a beauty from behind the midfield circle to give us the last minute win.

Biggest Win: I don't have the SS anymore but it was a 17-0 win over Messina with Palermo. It was a friendly...seriously? Probably the 5-0 win against Inter Milan.

Biggest Defeat: 7-1 against Chivas

Funniest FM 2009 Moment: Manchester City have an all-star team but are relegated first season and eventually drop out of the BSN.

Best Signing: Adriano. Last version he was a legend and this version it was the same. Carried my team...I need to find a new star striker

Worst Signing: Fabregas. He never dropped below a 7.00 rating but wasn't as good as I expected him to be.

Biggest Club Managed on FM 09: Milan. I always start with them

Best Young Player(Wonderkid) signed: Tales Tlaija de Souza

Best Regan Signed: Vasily Kobzev

Most High Profile Player Signed: Torres

Most High Profile Player Flop: Fabregas

Strangest Transfer on your game: Manchester City spending 12.5 on Titus Bramble

Most Expensive Transfer: 125M for Aguero...it was worth it.

Ever Took A Lower League club or lower league Nation Club to the top(if so who): Alessandria

Best Comback: I haven't had that many comebacks but I did come back after a 3-0 loss in the last 20 minutes for the CONCACAF final. (4-3 win)

So far I have played a total of 423 hours of FM09 compared to my previous 554 hours of FM08. I still have a few saves going but its been a good ride.

Best Team Managed: Southend United

Biggest Competition Won: UEFA Champions League (Arsenal). Never gone far at International level.

Best Goal: Lots of these... probably a toss up between Carlos Vela scoring from a curling screamer from the corner of the area, or Fran Merida scoring a 25 yard volley.

Biggest Win: Beating some lower league Spanish team 19-0 with Villareal. Biggest competitive win was a 5-1 win over Chelsea with Arsenal. Jack Wilshere hat-trick and Ashley Cole own goal... brilliant.

Funniest FM2009 moment: I don't know... seeing a player get sent off and then walk through the ref was quite funny to watch.

Best Signing: Either Miguel Veloso or Sergio Aguero.

Biggest Club Managed on FM2009: Arsenal.

Best Wonderkid Signed: Davide Santon, Ignacio Camacho or Mark Beevers.

Best Regen Signed: Xabier Romo - Spanish CM.

Most High Profile Player Signed: Sergio Aguero.

Strangest Transfer on your game: Arsenal signing Jose Antonio Reyes even though they have Nasri, Vela, Gibbs and Ben Arfar.

Most Expensive Transfer: Sergio Aguero - £40,000,000

Ever Took A Lower League club or lower league Nation Club to the top(if so who): Currently doing it with Southend.

Best Comeback: Can't remember, tbh.

Best Team Your managed: (like most enjoyed managing): Newcastle :D

Biggest Competition won (who with as well): World Cup with England in 2018 :D

What Trophies have you won (list them): 4 Serie A titles, 5 Italian Cups, 20 CL trophies, 2 Euro Cups, 12 EPL titles, 15 FA cups, 19 League Cups (Eng), 3 Argentine Primera's, 3 Copa Libertadores, 3 Confederations Cup, 6 Euro's, 4 World Cup, 6 Italian SuperCups, 22 European SuperCups, 22 Club World Championships, 5 La Liga, 6 Spanish Cups, 1 Brazilian Second Division, 1 Brazilian First Division

Best Goal: First Champions League final for Newcastle, 1-0 down going into injury time when Andy Carroll scored the equaliser from 35 yards...my room didn't know what hit it!

Biggest Win: In competitive play? Something like 19-0 against Arsenal after their demise down the leagues all the way to League Two.

Biggest Defeat: 7-1 away to Sao Paolo for ABC in my Brazilian save

Funniest FM 2009 Moment: So many, but I think Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal all entering administration in the same season :D

Best Signing: Sergio Aguero. God-like again and a must buy on every save file for me. My FM man-crush unashamedly.

Worst Signing: Young regen called Rob Whittow - given 7 stars recommendation from my scouts, spent £40m on him only for him to average 6.74 over 4 seasons with stats that never got better than average...pathetic. BTW, his stats were immense for a 19 year old when I looked, but he just never got good - case of CA better than PA i think.

Biggest Club Managed on FM 09: Newcastle...says something about my saves lol.

Best Young Player(Wonderkid) signed: Carlos Vela by an absolute mile.

Best Regan Signed: Charlie Smith. English centre midfielder who became the best on the game by a mile.

Most High Profile Player Signed: Messi, although by this time he was 27 so a bit on the decline.

Most High Profile Player Flop: Diego from Weder Bremen...disappointing.

Strangest Transfer on your game: Too many to mention, however the initial one of Michael Owen moving from Newcastle to Leeds in my Exeter game was a bit weird.

Most Expensive Transfer: £74m for Chiellini. Worth every penny as he became the linchpin of my defense that conceded 6 goals in an EPL season

Ever Took A Lower League club or lower league Nation Club to the top(if so who): Yep, took Exeter to the EPL and then eventually CL glory. Took about 15 years but worth the hours invested from my life.

Best Comback: Not many to mention really...although I was 2-0 down with Mallorca away at Atletico Madrid at half-time. Inspired team talk followed and we wound up 6-3 winners :D
