Rangers2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Share Posted June 22, 2008 Started a new game with Russia. Its going well. I beat England 3-1 and put their hopes of qualifying hanging by a thread. phnompenhandy Posted June 22, 2008 Share Posted June 22, 2008 In the light of their performances in Euro 2008, I wonder if SI should tweak up Russian players' CAs by 10% - aside from the 'keeper, I'd say none of the Russian team is rated as well in the game as they're playing right now. Then remember how they completely dominated England and looked world class a couple of months ago. England in Euro 2008 would have been embarrasing, regardless of who was managing them. I also remember Much Maligned McClaren's England team beating Hiddink's Russia with consummate ease at Wembley just months ago, and a little further back, Spain's slick world beaters losing to *snigger* Northern Ireland...England in Euro 2008 would most probably have gone out in the quarters or semis after a penalty shootout, regardless of who was managing them.
