Won the Blue sqaure south play offs with weston-super-mare, during the close season had a board takeover, the new chairman wants his own man in so sacks me!!!!:confused: Am now Tiverton :) looking forward to passing weston in the near future... A takeover happened and the new chairman let me know I was auditioning for my own job with Hayes (the previous manager and a club icon) his personal choice to replace me. While I finished out the season hoping to impress him and a bit angry that I would likely be fired, he decided to build a new stadium for the club. The chairman decided to name it Hayes Park, much to my chagrin. Luckily, my results were just enough to convince him to let me stay on as manager. But every once in a while a news item pops up with the stadium's name blaring in bold print and my feathers ruffle a little at playing on a pitch named for the guy who almost stole my job.
