Forkoid
Look at this guy: As you can see... he's not bad for a 19 YO. And he's improved steadily since I got at 17. Here's his personality: So... My question is this. He's unambitious. Advantages: Will be less likely to want to move clubs (either to a bigger club or for a new challenge)... But what are the disadvantages? Does it him less determined to achieve?
Jack Rudd
I believe it can cause him to reach his PA more slowly. Mind you, given his description as a "Wonderkid", he may be close to his PA already.
Cougar2010
Disadvantage is usually they don't improve as much and don't reach full potential. However he seems to be doing ok so I wouldn't worry. Maybe have a look at having him mentored.
HHUK
Well it depends on your team, it's either a blessing or a curse: - Doesn't work as hard in training. - Doesn't get bored at clubs as easily. - Won't often want to join a bigger club. His stats are looking awesome so I'd take the unambitious sign as a blessing, it should stop him moaning when you reject offers from bigger clubs. oTRUTHo
you should apointed him a mentor at an earlyer adge with someone who is ambitius to get rid of it.
Cougar2010
you should apointed him a mentor at an earlyer adge with someone who is ambitius to get rid of it. Just ambitious could be bad. It would improve his ambition but you could make his loyalty, determination, professionalism & temperament worse if you don't choose your mentor carefully. x42bn6
Ambition is not a bad thing - lack of ambition is a real problem in a lot of cases. Even professional but unambitious players will struggle to reach their true potential. However, I think it's loyalty which plays a bigger part in players wanting to move around. DanGLiverpool
Get him mentored by someone who has a good personality e.g. Driven, Professional etc.
wearesporting
He will be unambitious on the field too. Not good for a forward player. His motivation may be low too.
DivineOne
Hey Ray, why do you hide your name at the press conference line?

I highly doubt ambition has anything to do with what happens on the pitch. Determination, flair and aggression perhaps, but not ambition.
Haynes28
Will he also ask for lower wages? This seems to happen from my experience anyhow.
earmack
My captain (and Englands) for Lyon was an unambitious regen, was very useful as he didnt get angry at me not letting him move to the 50 bigger rep'd clubs in the game.
