bardock Posted July 24, 2009 Share Posted July 24, 2009 I've recently started an unemployed game in which I'e set a goal of trying to reach my beloved Liverpool. Usually when I start unemployed I go on holiday and apply everywhere it comes back when I get offered a job. On this save though I'm being picky with the jobs I take so I'm using job centre. Thing is jobs centre is displaying 1 available job right now but job security shows 4 available jobs (I can apply to). Why is there a difference between the two? Brian Shanahan Posted July 24, 2009 Share Posted July 24, 2009 Job security usually means that you are being a bit of a B'stard, and applying for to go in to the dead man's shoes before he is dead. It could precipitate the managers sacking if his position is insecure enough and your rep is high enough. I haven't used this option yet, but give it a few years on my current save and I might.
