Gunnapaul Posted July 23, 2009 Share Posted July 23, 2009 Depends on the financial status of the club I think, i.e. position and/or league, relegation will usually mean a lower budget (correct me if I'm wrong), where as winning things means more or the same. Any money left from one season is used to work out how much is available across all the costs for the following season, so it is not guaranteed. It does not always make sense though to spend the budget, just because it is there, because this may mean less money for wages etc next season. It is a balancing act.
