crazyscotsman Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 I'm just curious how some of you start out a new game. I assume that some of you pick your favourite club and just play with them. Some perhaps pick one of teh top teams and try to win as much as possible? Some might pick a lower league club and try to get them to the highest league/position possible. crouchaldinho Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 I usually end up playing with my team, St. Albans City, and trying to take them up the leagues. Otherwise, I try to have a Roy Hodgson style journeyman career game. I always start off in the bottom leagues though, with the intention to make my way to the top with one team, or to jump ship until I reach the pinnacle of world football. Doesn't quite work like that though. Furthest I've got is taking the Saints up to the Premier League and finishing midtable in FM07. On FM08, I had a career game starting in BSS and moving between three countries until I ended my career with Leverkusen achieving a midtable finish in the German top flight.
