flamydale
How are they calculated? For instance last season as AC Milan I won the Champions League, given a score of 34.571. Thats pretty normal for Champs League winners from what I have seen. However Chelsea won the Uefa Cup and got given 41.085. Therefore leaving me quite confused. Anyone shed any light as to how they may have got a higher score. Thanks
Brian Shanahan
For a way of calculating coefficients for UEFA IRL go Here. It appears UEFA does not weight CL higher than Europa League. P.S. also note a team that wins all games bar one to knock-out in QF of competition could win more points for coefficient than the winners (if they scrape through all the rounds like Liverpool a few years ago)

swisso
Quite a fair way of calculating too! Evertons UEFA Cup run in 2007-2008, albeit a short one, saw us win 7 games from 8 (not including the overall Fiorentina result), which gave us a coefficient of 22.898, the 10th best in Europe that season. Zenit who went onto win the competition only managed 24.712 having just 6 wins overall! It's good to see performance rewarded with a higher coefficient and not just a trophy win
