You get a crash dump because a program has crashed, it's very often not something that can be solved by you, the user, himself.

If you're using Dr.Watson as your debugger you can go to Start\Run and type "drwtsn32" and press enter and then a configuration tool for Dr.Watson appears and you can find out where your crash dump is located and/or configure a new destination for it.

If you're not sure which debugger you are using and would like to use Dr.Watson you can simply go to Start\Run and type "drwtsn32 -i" and press enter and Dr-Watson will be used in the future.

Send the dump file to SI via the FTP (details can be found in the bugs forum) and they can take a look at why it crashes for you.
