Hubert Cumberdale Posted July 17, 2009 Share Posted July 17, 2009 Dunno if this has happened to anyone yet but I managed Roma for 7 seasons from the start of the game until 2015 then was offered the Arsenal job so took it. Part of the reason I took the Arsenal job was my failure to win in europe with roma despite winning the league 4 times in a row. I had got to the CL final with Roma against Arsenal in the 2015 season but lost heavily (see below): So I took the arsenal job and lo and behold got to the CL final again, against whoever but ROMA!, only the team I'd been managing for 7 years. Here's how it ended: Anyway, I won the cups (League and FA), but lost the league due to the only home defeat all season to Spurs (bastards), but just thought it was strange that I'd play 2 CL finals in a row but on different sides! I built a great squad with Roma and really was devastated not to win the CL with them, I was winning the Italian League easily with them every year, so I left to join Arsenal, so happy to win the champions league, even on pens!
