XML Parsing Error

I have recently received a Parsing Error on Football Manager 2009. The game still works, but I'm struggling to get some of the graphics in my game to work. It usually appears when I click confirm on the preferences menu, it looks something like this:

I'm assuming it has something to do with the config.xml document.

Any help?

This is covered in both the threads in the Known Issues threads at the top of the forum.

I had this before. Try what's said in the known issues threads as Fraz says. If that doesn't work, you'll have to modify the config file slightly. But if you don't have a clue how to do that, you could go to graphics/pictures/person/121301/portrait and delete everything in that folder. You'll be missing a few pictures, but you can always download another facepack to replace those missing pictures.
