Sussex Hammer Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 A bit baffled. I know a fair bit about Football but I can't work this one out, my mind must have given up on me!! I finished 4th in the EPL in 2011-2012. End of season the table states I have qualified for the Champions Cup. New season starts I find myself in the qualifying stages of the Euro Cup?! I qualify and I am in the Group stages of the Euro Cup?! I have had a look at the rules and am a bit baffled with the Best placed 4th place. Does that mean 4th place in various Leagues only qualify for the CC in a best finish scenario??? I assumed from real life history the top 4 in the EPL qualified for the Champions Cup? The top 4 were Man Utd, Man City, Villa and me, West Ham. United, City, Villa and Liverpool (CC Holders) are the only English teams in the CC draw?
