Valencia Mestalle Problem

At the start of the game the Valencia Mestalla team are in the lower leagues of Spain. I gave all the players in the team a free transfer at the start of season 2, as they were all crap. I've signed a bunch of young players, but want to move the ones too old for my Under 19 team, to Valencia Mestalla to continue their training and progression until they're ready for the 1st team.

However, anytime I try to move a player to my affiliate it give this message:

[PLAYER] cannot be moved to Valencia Mestalla. Valencia Mestalla must have at least 6 under-23 players in their squad.

Now, I'm trying to move players who are under 23 into the squad, but it won't let me.

Has anyone came across this before? I'm playing 9.3.0.

i had that same problem with my getafe side, ruined the game for me in the end. I was on 9.1 so its not version specific

Have you tried moving six at the same time, by multi-selecting?

Failing that, you could add a new manager, take over Valencia M and see if you can sort out the problem from there, then retire him.

You can't multiple select and move - tried, but you get points for suggesting.

Also, I couldn't select Valencia Mestalla to manage, as I hadn't selected the lower leagues as manageable, thus compounding my error.

I've kind of got round this as the Valencia Mestalla manager will make signings of his own - so I waited until he made enough signings to account for 6 under-23 players, then was able to move the players.

Still a crappy bug to put up with after 3 patches.
