velonce
Thinking of playing a network game. However, the big leagues will have about 20 teams each which means we don't get to play against human controled teams in competitive matches as often as we'd like. Preferably a league in europe so we can potentially play in the CL but anywhere in the world is fine. So can anyone recommend a league?
Wiitastic
Australian A-League has 8 clubs in the game. They also play Asian Champions League. Well the top 2 each season does.
velonce
Thanks Wiitastic, I come from Australia myself so I've given that a thought. The salary cap and squad size restrictions are quite frustrating though.
dankrzyz
Switzerland and Austria have small leagues... maybe 10 teams in each? Don't recall exactly.
Harper
MLS has 14. Also has frustrating salary cap and roster regulations and American style transfers and what not. It would be nice if the salary cap were editable.
Saxonaitor
Scottish have 12. But Australia have 8 as previously said. To add on, how does a network game work?
small Mac
Yeah Scotland is a good one. Play each other 3 or 4 times in the league every season.
jptykes
India is a small league iirc, as is Iceland.
robzilla
Yeah Scotland is a good one. Play each other 3 or 4 times in the league every season. Four times - so each team is at home twice and away twice
small Mac
Four times - so each team is at home twice and away twice Actually its dependant on the league split, so it is either three or four times
Wiitastic
meh, just use an editor and increase your clubs wage budget. you wont incure any penalty either. But if you do that, be realistic.
robzilla
Actually its dependant on the league split, so it is either three or four times I stand corrected. I don't even know what the "League Split" is...? EDIT: Just read up on it on Wikipedia, what a ridiculous system!
