Editing Stadium Names

Hi

A simple question really, is there anyway that you can edit the name of a stadium that has been built for your club?

The reason i ask is that i have just moved into The Wycombe Stadium and the name is rubbish, so i wanted to change it into something better.

Is there any way i can do this?

You can, you need to find out the unique id of the stadium with one of the editors I forget what one shows it, then make a .LNC file like so:

"STADIUM_NAME_CHANGE" 2023026918 "Name goes here" "English"

Where the number is put the id for the stadium.

Can .edt files be used after a game has been loaded though? I didn't think they could.

What exact text should i put into this document?

Switch the "name goes here" for the name you want (eg Elm Park). Switch the numbers for the ID of the new stadium, which you can find in certain save game editors.

It won't work because you need to start a new game for LNCs to take effect. As far as I know anyway. Can you not do it on FMRTE? Not certain if it's possible.

FWIW, you put exactly what the poster above said, changing the Stadium name obviously:

"STADIUM_NAME_CHANGE" 2023026918 "Name goes here" "English"

Then save it with the .lnc extension at the end.
